WHO IS KING CHARLES III TO CANADA? King Charles III holds a unique role as "King of Canada"—not just King of the United Kingdom. His official title in Canada: "His Majesty King Charles the Third, King of Canada." While terms like Monarch and Sovereign are accurate, “King of Canada” is the clearest and most correct title. Canada is a constitutional monarchy, and the King is our "independent Head of State".
