The
Things Only GOD Can Make:
True Wealth Beyond Human Effort
In a world where money is printed at the push
of a button and debt multiplies like weeds, it’s easy to forget that real
wealth—the kind that sustains life and anchors economies—can’t be created by
man.
- We can print paper, but we can’t make gold.
- We can issue bonds, but we can’t create oil.
- We can engineer systems, but we can’t create life or food from nothing.
These are gifts of GOD:
- The minerals buried deep in the earth.
- The fields that yield wheat and corn.
- The oceans that teem with fish.
- The sun, the rain, the seasons—the cycle of provision we did not design.
Man’s Role:
Steward, Not Creator
As stewards, we can:
- Extract.
- Harvest.
- Refine.
- Trade.
But at the end of the day, we are working with what has been provided, not
creating it from scratch.
A System Built on
Illusions
When governments and banks manipulate paper,
inflate debt, and push numbers around on screens, they are not creating wealth,
but rearranging promises.
They are borrowing from the future—but the future is only sustainable if it’s
underpinned by real, God-given resources.
Without:
- The oil to fuel engines.
- The grain to feed mouths.
- The minerals to build and trade.
All the fiat money and financial engineering in the world collapses.
The Real
Backstop: God’s Provision
The true backstop is not the Bank of Canada
or the Federal Reserve. It’s not the IMF or the bond market.
It’s the resources that only God can provide—and our faithfulness as stewards
of those resources.
