President Trump's Tariffs Are About Drugs

Apparently for several years now the USA has had serious concerns about the lack of Canada's ability to deal with the drug and money laundering happening in our borders.

Premier Daniele Smith has been right about this issue from the beginning. It could be telling that she was the only leader to speak with Trump personally about this matter and did something about her border.

Before her visit Justin Trudeau did see Trump but given Trump's opinion of Justin that whole meeting was likely just about all polite public perception. The fact Trudeau did not seem to take the drug issue seriously and put the focus on a trade war could beg the question "is Trudeau interested in stopping the drug trade or is he invested in the drug trade?".
