"We do not need Canada"

Under the Trudeau government we have landlocked our most valuable wealth in our oil and gas reserves. Pipelines to the east coast, west coast and Hudson Bay have been blocked for years. If they were operating we would have no care about any threats from the USA. We have been persuing the 'Green' deal which is a disguised attempt to hobble the western economies. Killing the Canadian car industry so we will no longer be building our own cars, but will have to import the EVs from China. Some could make a serious case for this last 9 years being the actions of a traitor.

At 21:32 on this video President Trump singles out US relations with Canads and in front of the world declares the US has no need of anything Canada has to offer. If we in Canada think he is just bluffing trying to work a better deal, it is clear he is dead serious about no longer allowing Canada to get the better side of a deal. As he says they don't need our lumber or oil and gas nor do they need to buy the cars we make in Canada. 

The relationship we have enjoyed with the USA in the past was at a time we would have been seen as good allies whereas over the Trudeau era that relationship has drastically changed. They have seen the level of socialist decline in our nation and those changes have been the subject of many US commentators.

Commentators such as Joe Rogan would comment on the restrictions in free speech being brought in by Trudeau. The treatment of the Freedom Convoy with seized property and bank accounts did not go unnoticed in the States. It is doubtful this administration has any interest in maintaining the status quo.

Canadian politicians including our PM have publicly been less than complimentary of Pres. Trump, which does nothing to improve relations.
