7.3 Million Canadians get CERB funds
1.7 Million Canadians collect wage subsidy
Treasury Board President Jean-Yves Duclos made the announcement on Monday during a press conference by health officials and ministers.
He said that 7.3 million Canadians had received CERB funds (Canadian Emergency Response Benefit) and 1.7 million received wage subsidies from 96000 businesses who had applied for the funding.
In addition to this funding another 518,000 businesses are approved for interest-free loans of up to $40,000.00.
